A Decent Collection of Documentaries
So this is another release by Mill Creek Entertainment where they took 2 DVDs they produced a few years ago and put them together in one DVD Set. So on this set you'll find 2 Documentaries, each contains 10 episodes for a total of 20 episodes on Serial Killers/Mass Murderers. The good thing about these documentaries ?? They profile a lot of obscure cases, killers that most people might know nothing about. It's great to finally see a documentary about H.H. Holmes or the Gainesville Ripper, so for that I'm giving credit to the producers. Most of the profiles are very accurate and well researched. There's a few mistakes here and there but it's ok, nothing too dramatic, nothing is perfect. Now what's not so good about these documentaries ?? The narration is not great. Often the narrator will try to imitate a killer's voice and the results are pathetic and laughable. Also the first two episodes of "Portraits in Evil" features too many footage from old black and white movies. The episode...

This set met the garbage can...
This is complete GARBAGE. Not only was it boring as all hell...but even showing a crime scene which has been viewed by most of us on regular television was "whited out" so you couldn't see anything, laughable! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
